A Psychological View of Disability Culture. Dr. Carol J. Gill, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Human Development and Director of the Chicago Center for Disability Research, Department of Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago, provides an excellent perspective of why the need for a culture, what it is, and what it means for those of us who feel the need to be categorized in it. The title was corrected in 2025 from "Research on urban planning and architecture for disabled persons in Iran - Establishing design criteria" to "A Psychological View of Disability Culture".
