CITTI Project

Misson and activities:

The CITTI Project builds capacity of communities in developing countries to use assistive technology for people with disabilities.

The CITTI Project provides technical assistance to leaders of existing programs, schools, or agencies serving people with disabilities to plan for assistive technology in their communities to cultivate assistive technology expertise where none exists. The project supports each community according to their values, culture, and socioeconomic structures.

The CITTI Project provides technical assistance through a team of assistive technology specialists skilled and experienced in classroom, workplace, and community use of technology.

Our organization has a policy for including people with disabilities among staff, volunteer workers and clientele.

Our non governmental, non-profit, organization works at the international level.

Our organization is to some degree run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

building capacity in developing countries to use assistive technology for people with disabilities.
