Misson and activities:

Leeds Advocacy recruits, trains and supports volunteers who act as citizen advocates for people with learning disabilities living in Leeds

Our organization works at the local level.

Our organization is to some degree run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Assisting persons with intellectual disabilities.
Children with disabilities.
Legal aid.
Legislation.
Parenting.
Peer support.
Research.
Self-advocacy.
Sexuality and relationships.
Women and disability.
Advocacy
Citizen Advocacy
Crisis Advocacy
Formal Advocacy
Dual Diagnosis
