NBACL works to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities, with the support of their families, have the option to choose the supports they need to live meaningful lives and participate in their communities as valued and contributing members.
Our non governmental, non-profit, organization works at the local level.
We consider ourselves as part of the international Independent Living and Disability Rights Movement.
Our organization is to some degree run, controlled and represented by disabled people.
