Misson and activities:

DIRC provides free information on services and support available to people with any type of disability who live in Eastern Sydney, NSW, Australia, their families, friends and support workers

Our organization works at the local level.

Our organization is mainly run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Self-advocacy.

Women and disability.
Information: collection, storage and dissemination to people with disabilities from the local level to the global.
All issues affecting individuals with disabilities and extending to a view which includes the entire community.
We have cooperated with organizations in other countries before:

Email and web-based discussion of information issues for pwd in Canada, UK, Netherlands and Fiji.
